3  BEFORE YOU CLICK Export  choose from among the other options on the export screen—

  • Selected Individuals—use this to identify who will be in the file:
    • All those in your database
    • a Partial list of those in your database

    Follow this if you want a reminder about how to choose a partial list:

  • Include
    • Notes—to attach the general notes to each individual
    • Sources—to attach the source notes to each individual
    • Contact information—to attach the information you have saved with each individual
    • Confidential data—to attach the confidential information which you have marked with a tilde (~) as the first character in the paragraph
    • Full information on living—to attach the birth and marriage information, and notes for those individuals who have no death dates or do not fall within the defaults you specified in your preferences
    • Names on living—to attach the names for those individuals who have no death dates or do not fall within the defaults you specified in your preferences

      WARNING: be very careful in using this option. Use it only when sending information to a close family member and only with the living person's permission. A subset of this information is an option to include the name of the living person.

      Another option is to include the names by checking that box, but leave out birth and marriage information and notes by not clicking the Full information box.

    • Submitter—to include your name and information as submitter
    • LDS data—to include dates and locations for LDS temple submissions or ordinances
