Going back to the Views menu, you can also change the preferences for each screens.  Just click on the View Preferences option to bring up the Preferences screen.  In the preferences screen, you can change each of the views.  Each view (the default, Misc. Notes, Medical and Misc., Events, and LDS Events) is listed on the left and can be highlighted to control that view by adding to subtract fields for each of the views in the menus at the bottom. You may want to delete any redundant views, or some people like to keep different fields in different view to flip between them easily.

Under preferences, you can also show a preferred picture, Show Change Date/Person Id is enabled in the View menu.  That will show those items on the bottom of each person’s information.  The last option is to show child and parent lists.
