The first step of this exercise is to obtain a "complete citation for a film or book." This will require a trip to a local Family History Center. These centers will be covered in Lesson 12.

Once there you will need to find the source for a book, film or fiche you desire on the Family History Library Catalog, itself. This has been explained to you in Lesson 10, but will also be covered in the next two lessons as well.

Once you have this information, you will put it on a diskette. Either bring one with you when you go to the Center or determine if one can be purchased at the center (that's usually possible—at a very resonable price) because you will be copying your file to this diskette.

The staff at your local Family History Center can guide you on how to copy sources to a diskette from the FHLC.

Just click on the print option in the program and then go down until you see the option to print or copy to diskette.
