How do you link sources to the repositories in your program?
To link a repository to source notation in PAF, you can start from an Edit Individual screen or from Edit Marriage.
If you get there from Edit Individual, you can edit sources for all events. If you choose Edit Marriage from the menu, you wil only be able to edit the marriage information (and the LDS informationif you have that turned on).
The only way to tie a repository to an event is to document the event first. The events with only an "s" do not contain material. Select a source which holds material, one which has an asterisk"*s." Click the "*s" next to the piece of informaiton to which you want to add a repository.
This will bring up the Source for "Event" of "Person's Name" screen.
From there click the Edit button to get to the Edit Source screen we just saw.
Click the Repository button which is on the left side of the screen.
At this point you select an existing repository or add a new one. If you add a new one, follow the instructions listed above.
You select the repository you want to attach to your source by highlighting it and then clicking the Select button.
Click the OK button on the Edit Source screen and that will bring you back to the Source for . . . screen. The repository you selected wiil be in the box labeled Repository.
