UNLINKING A COUPLE FROM EACH OTHER

The process of unlinking a spouse follows the same basic method that you followed to unlink a child. It is done from the family view.

Notice, however, that the spouse you may want to delete may be on the top or on the bottom. If you right-click the spouse when on top, the options do NOT include unlinking.

If he or she is on the bottom, you can go through the same process you used to unlink a child. The individual remains in the database, he or she is just not part of this family any more.
