This option prints a chart beginning with the person named as Starting Person. If you wish to begin the chart or charts with someone else, click Search.

Type of Chart

A descendancy chart lists a person and his or her descendants (children and their children).

You can print two types of descendancy charts:

• Standard Chart  Provides only birth, death, and marriage date information. Uses only a single page width, but continues for as many pages as there are descendants or as many pages as you have told it in the OTHER OPTIONS field to print as MAXIMUM GENERATIONS TO PRINT. Once again you can suppress RINs and put multiple parent indicators when cousins marry cousins and your family lines intersect. See the example above.
• Wall Chart  Supplies varying degrees of additional information for each person and uses more than a single pages width and continues for as many pages as descendants. Notice on the print out below how each generation lines up on the left marker according to its generational level.
