All that is left, is to enter yourself, your parents, your siblings, your grandparents, and your own husband and children, if any. You cannot hurt the program and the more you work with your genealogy computer software program, the easier you will find it to be.

In the weeks and months ahead, we will learn how to take branches off this family tree and send them to someone else; how to download branches from large databases online; and how to graft branches from the trees of others onto your own family lines. Hopefully this will make your genealogy advertures more enjoyable and successful.

Speaking of large databases online. This week you will begin to explore commercial websites. Notice some of the unique features at each site that are available freely to others, and if you have a chance go online at the local Family History Center and try out their for-fee services for free. We will be discussing what we found out soon.
