You are now through setting your preferences. They have already taken place.

NOTE:  Now that you know how to get to the Preferences menu through the main Menu Bar, look at it again. Notice more options are now available for you in the top menu bar.

Also, if you click on Tools and scroll down to Preferences, notice at the right end of the word Preferences is the keyboard shortcut. There are all kinds of speed shortcuts if you use a feature over and over and don't want to use a mouse. In other words, you can get to the preferences tabs by holding down Shift and Control while you strike the P key.

Write down the options you have selected so you can submit these as a response to your upcoming assignment.
