Either method will produce the GEDCOM Export screen.
On the GEDCOM Export screen there are several options that will have to be selected to accomplish the export.

Under the Include column select those options that will cause that type of data to be included in the export file.

This will not export those notes that are flagged as confidentialthose notes with a tilde (~) in front of them. The inclusion of confidential notes is discussed later in this list of choices.
Sources If you want to include your sources, check this option.
Contact information Each individual in the database can have a person to contact about that name. If you want the contact to be included in the submission file select this option.

Exclude Confidential information about a person be sure that this option is not selected. There should be no check mark next to this option. Unless you have received written permission from a living person to include their information in your file, you should not include it.
