To all People to whom these
Presents shall come Greetings Know ye that Samuel Phelps of Harwington in the County of Harford and Colony of Connecticut in Newington for the consideration of forty Pounds Curant money to me in Hand Paid before the ensealing and delivery of these present By Noah Loomis of the same town of Harwington aforesaid the receipt where of I do hereby acknowledg Hand and Granted Bargained Sold and Confirmed an by these presents the sd Samuel Phelps for my self my heirs Executors and Administrators Do give grant Bargain Sall [sic] and confirm unto the said Noah Loomis his heirs and assigns for Ever one tract or Parcel of Land Lying and being in the Western Part in the sd township of Harwinton containing in quantity thirty and four acres be the same more or less and is the thir[d] Prussion [possession] laid out on my Right in the western propriety the afore sd town of Harrington that is to say that third div ision I now live upon to have and to hold the above granted and Bargained Premisses unto him the said Noah Loomis his heirs and Assigns for ever to his . . .
