For this option, you have the ability to modify source notes, which are composed of the citation and the citation details. To modify the citation, carry out the following steps:
Bring up an individual edit screen. [Find the person you wish to correct (click on Search, then Individual List, and scroll up or down to the name you want. Once the name you want is highlighted, click the Edit button at the bottom of the screen.]
If, for example, you want to change the source notes for a birth, find the small "s" to the right of the birth place. If the "s" has an asterisk next to it ("*s"), then there are notes that can be modified. If the asterisk is not there, there are no notes, and you can add a citation to event.
Double click on this "*s" button and the source screen will appear.
