Like Einstein, I also think a lot about space and time, specifically the relationship between time and events. Why? Because I know that finding just the correct connection between the two, and the correlation they have with our ancestors' lives, will ultimately guide us to our sources.

Many students enjoy Chapter 7 in the text, as well as this online lesson. Together they can provide you with ways to find records about your ancestors and to know them. By understanding the relationship between historical events in which your ancestors lived, and the space in which they traveled and ultimately settled, a jurisdiction will be discovered, and you will be lead to new sources of information.
