This shows those people who are not attached to parents, and it is a good report to run. These are your starting point for new research—once you have validated everything up to that individual.

All Individuals without recorded parents - with this option checked, the PAF program will check all family lines in your database. Individuals without recorded parents on a single line - when this option is checked, the PAF program will check only one line, starting with the person who is highlighted, and working back. — All Individuals without recorded parents  This will give you all the end-of-line individuals in the database.

— Individuals without recorded parents on a single line  If you wish to limit the search and want to check only one line, highlight that individual then come to this screen and click this option. That will generate the list of only his or her ancestors.
