How do you make a list of all of the individuals for whom you made TO DO notes?

The general process is identical to what you have already done to find any word in your notes. However, this time you want to make a list of all of those individuals as well.

This time you start by working with reports. If you want to refresh your memory the various possibilities, they were discussed in Lesson 5. (NOTE:  This will open in a new screen. If you click to review, just close that window and you will be back here.)

Choose one of the following to get to the reports screen:

  • go to File on the main menu, then Print Reports
  • click the printer icon ( )
  • use <Ctrl + P> from the keyboard

Once you get to the reports screen, click the Custom tab.

Name the report whatever will be meaningful to you. You can use the entire space, so be specific, for example, My Things To Do List.

Now click Select in the center of that screen. You will recognize the same form we were using before. Be sure you use these same steps:

  • Be sure the Relationship Filter to All.
  • Click Select.
  • Be sure Combine filters using: is AND.
  • Click Define under Field Filter.
  • Scroll to Notes, highlight it and click the > (or double-click tthe word).

Now type in TO DO or THINGS TO DO, however you originally entered your phrase.
